Lisa Langley

Miss Lisa began dancing at the age of 2 and instantly fell in love with it, particularly Ballet. After progressing through her RAD Ballet grades from Primary to Advanced, she successfully auditioned to further her training at the Upper School of the Royal Ballet School in London at the age of 18 where she was awarded the prestigious Diploma in Teaching of Ballet after completing a full time three year course. She grew up in the spotlight and performed on stage from a young age.
Credits include The Royal Variety Performance, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat (UK Tour), Wizard of Oz, Annie, Les Miserables, Calamity Jane, Riverdance (Hammersmith Apollo), Sleeping beauty (Lilac Fairy) to name a few. As a student of the Royal Ballet School she appeared on the stage at Covent Garden alongside dancers of the Royal Ballet. The most memorable moment was being part of the Gala to commemorate the life of Sir Kenneth Macmillan. Lisa decided to set up her own dance school in 1997 to pass on what she had learnt to students. Since graduating Lisa has also qualified to be a Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) and ChiChi Fit instructor and keeps up to date with all the RAD work by attending regular courses in London.

Sarah Lidbetter
LRAD ARAD AISTD
Ballet
Sarah graduated from the Royal Academy of Dance ( LRAD ) in 1986. She freelanced in the South East region before taking up a contract in Brazil in 1987. Whilst working at the Academia de Ballet da Bahia in Salvador, she taught Classical Ballet at all levels, participated in productions, and was involved in their choreography. On returning to the UK, Sarah took up a post at The Hammond School, Chester there upon becoming Dance Coordinator with special responsibility for the Associate Department and training of the Teaching Certificate of the RAD. In 1996 she qualified as a Grades Examiner and, after further training, as a Tutor for the RAD.

Georgina
Turier-Duerden
Contemporary
After attending Davies School of Dance from the age of 5-18 Georgina attended the prestigious Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, graduating with a BA(hons) degree in contemporary dance. Georgina currently has a contract as a company dancer for the Welsh company, Ffin Dance, performing in their 2 current works ‘Crib’ and ‘An Inspector Calls.’ Georgina has also worked with Roswitha Chesher, Elizabeth Kew Ross, Eleven Farrer House, Sarah Blanc, Laura Caldow and Kerry Biggin. When not performing Georgina is delivering technique and creative dance workshops and classes to a variety of ages, as well as teaching Barre fitness classes at Define.London, a leading boutique barre studio in London.

Nathalie Harrison
Ballet
English dancer Nathalie Harrison was a First Artist of The Royal Ballet nearly 20 years. Nathalie was born in London, and trained at The Royal Ballet School; in her graduate year she won silver medal at the Genée International Ballet Competition. Performing in all the major classical productions, new works and Royal Ballet tours, her repertoire is extensive and varied. Nathalie’s roles include Empress Elisabeth (Mayerling) Winter Fairy (Cinderella)  Red Girl (Les Patineurs) Lady Capulet (Romeo and Juliet), principal pas de deux (DGV), Bathilde (Giselle), pas de deux (Agon), Queen and multiple roles in Swan Lake, La Bayadère, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, The Nutcracker. She has completed a course in Ballet Education Practice and continues to work extensively with the ROH education programmes. During the 2015/16 Royal Ballet season Nathalie was the Royal Ballet Assistant Ballet Mistress.

Sue Bolland
Adult Yoga
Sue discovered yoga 10 years ago whilst looking to help stretch out after other sporting activities but immediately discovered something so much more meaningful.  Attending classes on a regular basis she soon realised its power to help the body and calm the mind and very soon it became the most important part of her recreational life. This led a strong desire to encourage others to discover its benefits, so after enrolling in a 200 hour teacher training programme with Sally Parkes in 2015, she began teaching professionally with various styles including Hatha, vinyasa flow, restorative and stretch based conditioning, also regularly assisting on Sally’s teacher training programme and completing a restorative yoga course with Paula Hines.

Seren Williams
Contemporary
Seren began her training at Drusilla Duffill Theatre School (2004-2013) before going onto The Royal Ballet School Associates (2004-2013) and Central School of Ballet (2013-2016). She joined Matthew Bourne’s: New Adventures in 2016 for the production of The Red Shoes, followed by Cinderella. Seren has just played the title role of Juliet in Matthew Bourne’s latest production, Romeo and Juliet. Seren recently joined Ramber2 in 2020 and has been touring throughout the UK. Other Career Highlights include Crystal Pite's Polarisand Dane Hurst's Prud'hon: The Moving Body, Exodus and TRAPPED. Also working with Sharon Watson, Charlotte Edmonds and Christopher Marney.

Romina Hytten
Puppetry & Acting
Romina is an ex pupil and since leaving Davies School of Dance in 2015 she has gone on to perform professionally as an actor and puppeteer. Some of her previous theatre credits include ‘The Lorax’ at The Old Vic and The Royal Alexander Theatre (Toronto), ‘Dinosaur World Live’ UK and USA Tour, ‘Running Wild’ at Regents Park Open Air Theatre and the UK Tour. Romina’s looking forward to joining the West End cast of ‘The Life Of Pi’ in 2021.

Sally Carpender
Guest Pianist
Sally is an experienced Dance Pianist and regularly play for RAD and ISTD Examinations, Grades, Majors, Teacher Training for RAD and ISTD (DDI and DDE Imperial Ballet). I have 35 years’ experience working at Arts Educational School. Tring Park; Laine Theatre Arts, Epsom; RAD College, Battersea, and also play for Summer Schools for RAD, South West Ballet Seminars and numerous teaching and student courses in Cornwall, South East and London.
Ballet has always been my passion. I believe that everyone can share the joy of dance and achieve wonderful results at the same time as learning life skills such as discipline, dedication and team work. - Miss Lisa
